It is hard to contain my enthusiasm for the many breathtaking waterfront communities available in Kitsap and Jefferson County. You will find unlimited recreational opportunities around Puget Sound and the Hood Canal with boating, beaches, trails, kayaking, sailing and motor boating. Catch a salmon, dig some clams or pull some crab or shrimp pots for a sunset evening dinner. There are prestigious and challenging golf courses, professional sports, art studios, galleries and cultural event centers. And it is all in our back yard! And, if that isn’t enough hop on the ferry to Seattle to enjoy Mariner Baseball, Seahawks Football, distinctive shopping, theater and world concerts. In most areas we are less than an hour to the Olympic National Park. Continue your education with colleges and technical trailing. Kitsap County has fiber-optics throughout the area so Telecommunicating from here is a dream. Retiring or raising a family here is a dream. Enjoy four distinct seasons with mild winters and comfortable summers, and “The World’s Cleanest Air” (National Geographic 2011)
Employment opportunities abound: Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), Navy Sub Base Bangor, Keyport (Naval Undersea Warfare Center, U. S. Navy, U. S. Army, Harrison Hospital with locations in Silverdale and Bremerton and outreach centers, Oncology Centers, Safe Boats, Olympic College, engineering firms to fly rod production, from prosthetic manufacturing to test tube production, it’s all here. These are some of the reasons that home price appreciation is predicted to be some of highest in the nation by 2014. Regular ferry commuters work in Seattle with Amazon, Microsoft, Star Bucks, Fred Hutchinson, major banking centers etc.

As A Realtor...

As a realtor for the past twenty years my job is to listen, communicate effectively and in a timely manner whether it’s in person, by phone or over the internet. I can provide and inform you of real estate opportunities in any of our communities. Find you a neighborhood conducive to raising a family that is close to schools, a home that will make an easy commute to Seattle or, a retirement home or condo where you can be active, social and safe. I can also help you discover a recreational retreat to invest in now for your enjoyment and for your future lifestyle when the kids have left the nest. I enjoy working with buyers and sellers. I bought my first home as a single lady at age twenty something. My husband and I have built two homes. I believe in the American Dream of Home Ownership. Repeat and referrals are the largest part of my business, and I love working with relocation and first time buyers. I have even worked with three generations in a family, what a treat!. With a previous back ground in law, you can be assured of my attention to detail and keeping you updated every step of the way in our ever changing and sometimes challenging market. I have been married to my husband, David, for 35 great years. Together we have traveled and worked from Alaska to San Diego, Cape Town to London. We have back packed through Central and South America, Africa, Singapore and Malaysia. We recently returned from a month in Chile where we again got out the back packs and stayed in hostels and used local transport. We have no problem staying at 5 star resorts also! We have a son and daughter in their twenties and love watching their lives evolve and hanging out together.
